So with this section I thought I’d tell folks a little about me. My name is Frank L. Morales II and I live in the PNW, WA State.

My wife, Katie, and I have three children 13, 9, and 8. We also have two puppies that are German Shepard/Lab mix.

I have a fairly broad range of interests from technology/programming, physics, astronomy, history, music, drawing, and many others.

I’ve been playing guitar and drums for a number of years and hope to finally start writing more music soon, including composing music for film!

I’ve been in the IT field professionally for roughly 15 years, starting with help desk and working my way up to Software Engineer. In 2023 I got to move to a team where we used GoLang as the primary language, and I’ve really enjoyed how different it is from the Object-Oriented Programming languages I’m used to.

I’ve also recently taken to brushing up on Modern C++ as I want to use it for some embedded, and music software (plugins, synths, etc…) projects. I hope to use this blog to catalogue things I’ve learned, or find interesting with the hope someone else can benefit from it.
